Weekly 45min Lessons with Kara

Payment

For everyone's convenience term payments will be made via credit card or via afterpay through our website at time of enrolment. We will no longer be accepting bank transfers or cash. Upfront payment is required to secure your enrolment. Unfortunately we are unable to hold lesson times without payment.

Term fees are a fixed price set by Willow Studios at the beginning of each term. Fees will not be lowered if students aren’t able to attend the full term. New students who start mid-term will be billed pro-rata.

 

Enrolment Cancellation Policy

If a student cancels their enrolment at least 2 weeks before the commencement of the term a full refund will be issued to the student. Enrolment cancellation must be made in writing via email to willowstudiosaustralia@gmail.com before the 17th of January to be eligible for a full refund. If a student cancels their enrolment within 2 weeks of the commencement of the term, they will be entitled to a refund less the cost of two lessons. No refunds are possible once term has commenced. 

 

Rescheduling

We pay our teachers regardless of student attendance. It is for this reason that the following terms and conditions apply.

 

Students can reschedule 1 lesson per term for either illness or a clashing event subject to availability. Students will be provided with a coupon code to book in their rescheduled lesson via our website. Please note that rescheduled lessons are subject to availability. Availability is limited as we are fully booked after school so we suggest checking the website regularly incase someone has cancelled at a time that suits you. Alternatively students are welcome to book during the school day. Rescheduled lessons cannot be re-rescheduled or rolled over to the following term. Students cannot claim more than 1 rescheduled lesson per term.

 

Clashing Events

At least 2 weeks notice is required to reschedule due to a clashing event. This is to allow time for other students to book in using their rescheduling coupon. If two weeks notice is not provided it is understood by both parties that the student forfeits the lesson time. Students will not be eligible for a rescheduling coupon if they have already rescheduled a lesson during that term.

 

Illness

If you are sick you must inform Willow Studios by 12noon on the day of your lesson in order to be eligible for a rescheduling coupon. If notice is not given by 12noon the day of your lesson it is understood by both parties that the student forfeits the lesson time. Students will not be eligible for a rescheduling coupon if they have already rescheduled a lesson during that term.

 

Note: If you are unwell and can’t attend your lesson in person, but are well enough to sing you can request an online lesson before 12noon the day of your lesson.

 

Last Minute Cancellations & No Shows

If a student does not give appropriate notice that they will not be attending their lesson (see rescheduling section above) they will forfeit their lesson time and will not be eligible for a rescheduled lesson. There are no reschedules or refunds for no shows where no notice is given.

 

Online Lessons

It is advised that only students with a reliable internet connection sign up for online singing lessons. Having a back up connection through a phone is a great way to make sure you don’t miss a lesson. Unfortunately we cannot provide catch up lessons for missed lessons due to student internet connection issues.

Online lessons will not go ahead if the student is in a moving vehicle or on any type of moving transportation. No make up lesson will be provided if the student attempts to attend the lesson in a moving vehicle.

 

Teacher Illness/Cancelation/Rescheduling

If the teacher is unable to attend for any reason every effort will be made to find a replacement teacher. In the event that the teacher has to cancel for any reason (including illness, internet connection issues or clashing events) Kara will get in touch to organize a mutually convenient time for a replacement lesson. If it is simply not possible to reschedule due to teacher availability a refund or credit will be offered to students.

 

COVID-19 Policy

If we are unable to have students attend in person due to lockdowns or tightening of COVID-19 restrictions all lessons will be held online. If our teachers have to isolate due to being a close contact of a positive case lessons will be held online if the teacher is well enough. No refunds or reschedules will be given if the teacher is well enough to teach online at your scheduled lesson time. If they are not well enough every effort will be made to reschedule once they have recovered. If the teacher simply cannot fit in a rescheduled lesson a refund will be issued to the student.
