Creating a Supportive Learning Environment

We believe in creating a safe and supportive learning space. We do this by giving students the knowledge and tools to grow and learn in an encouraging and caring way. This allows them to grow equally in skill and confidence.

Parents are welcome to stay if the student would like. Other siblings are also welcome as long as they are supervised by a parent. However, any distractions that hinder student learning are discouraged and usually in order for students to feel safe to express themselves and take positive risks, the less people in the room during lessons the better.

Parents are encouraged to come and have a listen towards the end of the lesson so that the student has an opportunity to perform. This allows time for exploration of the voice one-on-one with their teacher, as well as an opportunity to practice performing.
